Woohoo! The registration stuff is done! Congratulations on that and also, now is a good time for a new drink. Now let's get started on the MINI by orderbird! Just remember to keep your drink at a safe distance from the device. ;)
First things first: paperwork! In [Main menu] > [Settings] > [Receipt] you can design your printed receipt. You'll be done in about 3 minutes.
Create an administrator, KassenSichV compliance, logo and saving paper
Let's start with the most important thing...
Create an administrator
After logging in to your MINI, the first thing you need to do is create a user with a PIN. This user is the administrator of your MINI by orderbird. With this user you can later create additional users and assign roles for them.
Three lines to ensure that your receipt is KassenSichV-compliant
Tap "Edit header" and enter:
1. Venue name: the name of your shop / salon / cafe etc.
2. Venue body: the address
Save and go back to receipt settings. Now tap on "Edit footer" at the bottom:
3. Enter your tax ID or VAT ID
Hint: you can use the footer for other information as well, e.g. your working hours, special offers etc. Just press "enter" on the keyboard and the text field grows - magic ;)
Your logo in the receipts
Make your receipts sexy with a printed logo. Upload your logo in MY orderbird and then make a few fine adjustments on your MINI by orderbird.
If you want to minimize your paper consumption with the MINI, you can select a small font size for the receipt. Tap on "Receipt text size" at the top of the receipt settings.
Please note: if you choose small text size the logo print will not be available.
