Everything you sell, you add as an item in your MINI by orderbird. To find your items quickly, you sort them into folders.
And this is how it works (approx. 4 min. for 5 items):
1. Adding a folder
- Open [Main Menu] > [Inventory] > [Folders]
- Tap on the blue [+] at the bottom right
- Choose...
- a name for the new folder
- a colour for the folder (this will help to find it quickly on the sales screen - and it looks nice ;) )
- Tap on [Save] at the top right
2. Adding an item
- Open [Main Menu] > [Inventory] > [Folders]
- Tap on the correct folder to sort your new item into it or create a new folder
- In the folder, tap on the blue [+] at the bottom right
- Now you can give all the needed information for your item:
- Name (will be abbreviated with 2 letters of each word in the sales screen)
- It this item one of your favourites/top sellers?
- Set a Fixed Price or activate Flexible price
- Default tax rate
- To go tax rate (e.g. for food)
- PLU (optional)
- Barcode (optional)
- Tap on [Add] at the top
Good news: you can create new folders and items at any time, mark your bestsellers as favourites and sell them even faster, delete old items and folders - so you can keep track of everything and make it look the way you like it best.
And now that you have your goodies in the machine: go ahead and try out how your MINI by orderbird works... (aka step 6).
