To offer your customers a discount, simply add the discount to the shopping cart.
Giving a custom discount
- Tap on the "Discounts" folder and select "Custom discount".
- Select the type of discount: "% Percentage" or "€ Amount" and enter the value of the discount.
- Add a reason for the discount. Be as clear as possible here, it will make your accounting easier later.
- Done! At checkout, the discount will be deducted from the total value of the shopping cart.
By the way: As soon as you have saved your own discounts in the settings, you don't need to make these settings every time you use a discount.
Creating a new discount
You can add new discounts, such as a "New Customer Discount" or various promotional discounts, via your inventory.
- Go to Menu > Inventory > Discounts.
- Tap on the "+" symbol and create a new discount. You can also add a reason.
- The discount will now be available for you to choose from in the "Discounts" folder.
Changing or deleting discounts
- Go to Menu > Inventory > Discounts.
- Select the discount you want to edit and make the change...
- ...or tap on the small red trash can in the upper right corner to delete the discount.
Can I apply discounts to individual items?
Currently, you can only apply discounts to the entire shopping cart. If you only want to discount a single item, we recommend that you add this item to the shopping cart alone and settle the remaining items in another shopping cart.
Important: It is not allowed to discount deposits. If you grant a customer a discount on the shopping cart, please charge the deposit without a discount in a separate shopping cart. Your customer will receive two invoices.
