The orderbird MINI Version II has an integrated barcode scanner at the top of the device.

Setting up barcodes

In order for your barcodes to be recognized, they must first be saved in the item settings. 

1. Open your item list and add a new product or tap on an existing one. 
2. Scroll down in the item settings and open the “Item list” section. 
3. Tap in the barcode field. Now you can scan the barcode using the SCAN button on the left of the device. 
4. Save and you're done.

Scanning items

The screen must be switched on.

1. Press the button labeled "SCAN" on the left side of your MINI.
2. Hold the barcode of the item into the light at the top of the device. If the code is recognized, the item will be added to the shopping cart and you will see a message on the screen.
