A new day: You enter your store, switch on your orderbird MINI - but it doesn't react and the screen stays dark?
Stay calm, take a deep breath and check the following tips one after the other...
Is the cable defective?
If the MINI won't boot up, it's more often due to a defective charging cable than the device itself. Connect the charging cable with the included power supply and plug it into a power outlet. You are very welcome to check beforehand whether the socket also has power - try it out with your cell phone and its power adapter, for example.
Back to the orderbird MINI: Plug it in and see if it responds. When you plug in the cable, the screen should briefly light up white and display the PAX logo. If you then press the on/off button briefly, the battery level will be displayed.
Nothing happens?
Then change the charging cable: You need a standard micro USB cable. You probably have one from another electronic device lying around. If not, you can get it at any electronics store or online.
When your orderbird MINI comes back to life with a replacement charging cable, you know that the original cable has had its day. Let your orderbird MINI charge for a few hours, and it will be ready to use again.
Cable replacement does not help
You've tried lots of cables, but nothing happens MINI-wise? Then please do the following:
- Record a short video, how you…
- try to switch on the orderbird MINI and
- unplug the charging cable and plug it back in.
- Contact our support via the chat in MY orderbird or write a request. Please send us the following:
- the videos you made and
- the serial number of your device. You can find it on the back of the device under the barcode, starting with "S/N".
We will get back to you as soon as possible. If necessary, we will initiate the exchange of your orderbird MINI.
