If you want to register a new bank account for receiving your card payouts from Worldline, this page provides all necessary documents and important instructions. It is a bit of paperwork, but don’t let that discourage you!

About Changing Your Bank Account

Your bank account is stored separately for orderbird and Worldline. It doesn’t have to be the same account, and a change with Worldline does not affect your registered bank details at orderbird.

If you want to change the bank account for your orderbird license, you can find all relevant information here: Change Your Bank Information in MY orderbird

To change your bank account with Worldline, you will need three documents:

  1. The change form including your customer information, new bank details, and a handwritten signature of the authorized signatory or signatories.
  2. Witness documentation of your ID or the IDs of all authorized signatories.
  3. Your bank's confirmation for the new account.

1. Change Form

First, download the form. You can fill out the form on your computer or by hand. Either way, the signature at the end must be handwritten. Digital signatures are not accepted. So please print out the form to sign it.

The following information must be provided:

  1. Company Information” → Company details
    1. “Legal name” is the name of your business as registered with Worldline. You can find it in your Worldline online portal at reports.bambora.com > Settings > General.
    2. If your business is registered in the commercial register (e.g., GmbH, UG, etc.), enter the commercial registration number as “VAT no.”
      Associations use the association number.
Sole traders and GbRs enter their business tax number here.
    3. “Merchant ID” refers to your merchant ID used for processing card payments. You can look it up in your portal at reports.bambora.com > Settings > Accounts. If you have multiple Merchant IDs and want to change the account for more than one, feel free to include all IDs on the form. If you need help identifying them, contact us at MINI Support: Question, problem or feedback? Chat with us!
  2. Reason” → Reason for the change; check the box that fits best or specify your reason as “Other.”
  3. Account Information” → Bank details; enter the IBAN and bank name.
  4. Signature of authorized signatory” → Signature of the authorized person(s)
For sole proprietorships, this must be the business owner.
For GbRs, all partners must sign. If you have a partnership agreement stating that one or all are authorized to act individually, one signature is sufficient.
For other legal forms, the commercial or association register determines who is authorized to sign.
Please remember: the signature must be handwritten!

2. ID Documentation

The ID documentation serves to verify the identity of the authorized person(s) and authenticate the bank change. Please note that the signature must be handwritten by a witness. A witness can be a colleague, friend, or family member – no official notary required :-). A digital signature is not accepted. So please print out the sheet to sign it.

Then place the physical ID (original) in the marked box, photo side up. Digital ID copies are not allowed. Take a photo of the ID along with the witness signature, or scan the document and ID together.

The Sample

In our example, Erika Mustermann is the signatory of the account change and Erik Fischer is the witness. Here's what it looks like:

3. Bank Confirmation

The bank confirmation must be a recent document issued by your bank. Ideally, this is either a bank statement from the last month or a confirmation letter from your bank. It’s okay to cover or black out the transaction details and revenue. Banks will issue such confirmation letters upon request.

The following information must be visible on the document:

  • Bank name or logo
  • Account holder's name: For sole proprietors, this must be the person registered as the business owner. For other business types, it must match the registered company name.
  • Full IBAN
  • A date no older than 2 months (60 days)

Please ensure all this information appears on a single page. Screenshots from online banking typically do not meet this requirement. Photos of your bank card are also not sufficient.

Got Everything Ready?

Great! Once all documents are completed and signed, please send them to us at supportmini@orderbird.com. We’ll forward them to Worldline and let you know once your new account has been successfully registered.
