Your TSS is an online-TSS. You therefore need a permanent internet connection. According to the cash register security ordinance (KassenSichV), all receipts must have a signature.
Thanks to the SIM in your orderbird MINI, this is easier than having to rely on Wi-Fi alone - except for wireless gaps and the like.
What happens in case of problems with the internet connection?
If the TSS is temporarily unavailable, the receipt will not be signed. Don't worry: The legislator expects short-term malfunctions of the signature unit, which can occur, for example, if there are connectivity issues with the internet.
On your receipt from orderbird MINI you will then see the following message:
TSS not available.

What if the TSS is not working for other reasons?
In case the issue is not a failed internet connection, our partners and we are already taking care of solutions. Malfunctions of the TSS are rarely of long duration, and the receipts will be properly signed again in a timely manner.
If your TSS does not start signing receipts again within 24 hours, please contact MINI support via message or chat in MY orderbird or on your MINI device itself.
What do I do if the Internet is down?
The legislator refrains from re-signing the receipts. You don't need to worry about anything else, the cash register will continue to work in accordance with the cash register security regulations.
